Technical brief generator
Eleven short steps, from the business problem to acceptance criteria. You get a structured Markdown draft to copy, download and discuss with any development team.

How the generator works
Business context, roles and scenarios
Why the product exists, who uses it and which actions matter most. A name, a goal, at least one role and one scenario are required.
Platforms, modules and integrations
Where the product runs, which parts make up the first version (with Must / Should / Could priority) and which systems it exchanges data with.
Data, requirements, assumptions, acceptance
What is stored and who can access it, load and languages, timing and constraints, verifiable acceptance criteria. These steps are optional.
Review and export
The finished Markdown is shown in full: copy it to the clipboard or download it as an .md file.
The generator never fills anything in for you. Every empty or undecided field appears in the document as a TO_CLARIFY item with a hint on what to clarify, and the open questions are collected at the end. That list makes the first meeting with a team far more concrete.
What you get — and what you don’t
- The document is marked “Draft brief — needs clarification and engineering review”. It is not a specification or a commercial proposal.
- A complete specification cannot come out of a form: architecture, scope estimate, designs and legal terms are worked out separately with the team.
- The generator does not check whether timing and budget are realistic and does not estimate cost. There is a separate tool for a preliminary complexity estimate.
- Whatever you type is treated as data: markup characters such as
#,|,<or[ ]are escaped and cannot break the document structure.
Privacy
- The brief is assembled in your browser: the tool itself does not send the text you enter to a server, and it never appears in the page address.
- Your draft is stored only in this browser (localStorage); the “Clear” button deletes it.
- Analytics receives only the fact of an export and its format (copy or file) — never the brief itself.
- The result reaches us only if you send a request yourself and keep the “Attach the result” box ticked — the form shows exactly what will be sent.
- Do not enter passwords, access keys or real personal data: if the text looks like a key or password, the generator warns you.
